Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Cambridge

This hotel boasts a fantastic location! It's within walking distance of the training center, making commuting a breeze. The surrounding area is brimming with diverse dining options, from cozy cafes to lively restaurants. For added convenience, the hotel offers both same-day laundry service and a self-service laundry room on the second floor. While a bit further afield, downtown Boston is also walkable in approximately 41 minutes, offering easy access to the city's vibrant cultural scene.

Breakfast was good, with waffles, scrambled eggs and some fresh fruit (but nothing fancy). The location is convenient to both Cambridge (MIT, Harvard square) and Boston. A few blue bikes stations nearby and plenty of cafes around. The room was clean and everything seems to be new/refreshed. Garage is very conveniently located real close (but not in the same building).

We enjoyed staying in our room, a bedroom suite with a full sized-refrigerator in kitchen. Had good spaces to spread out to do our work & schoolwork for our daughter. This Residence Inn is quiet and my husband, a light sleeper, had good nights of sleep during our 5 nights of stay. Great breakfast food selection for our family of 3 ...hot & cold selections and healthy choices, too. I prefer my oatmeal with nuts/dried cranberries, while husband & 16 y/o likes their eggs, sausage, waffles or pancakes & fruit. Something for everyone. Hot coffee was always available. There were plenty of fruit juices but no water to be found. Plenty of clean space for eating or sitting to enjoy 2nd cup of coffee especially if you come earlier than most. Kudos to the busy breakfast staff who were always refilling the food, cleaning up serving area & putting away the dirty dishes. The floors were clean and most of the dining tables were frequently wiped down.

The location, the hotel, and the staff are exceptional. The staff was always ready to help genuinely. The location was perfect. Great restaurants and cafes are within walking distance. It is very close to the subway station and only 2 or 3 stops away from downtown Boston.
